McMASTER _ Bruce Alexander Bruce Alexander McMaster of Penticton, BC passed away peacefully on July 3rd, 2007 at the age of 86 years. He is survived by his loving wife Gene; four children Louise Charbonneau of Victoria, BC, Margery (Lee) Harwood of Oliver, BC, Susan Roper of Terrace, BC and Barbara (Al) Finlayson of Penticton, BC; four grandchildren Kama Charbonneau, Kenneth Harwood, Michael Cameron, Scott Finlayson; one great-granddaughter Stephanie; brother Jim (Berna) McMaster. Bruce was sadly predeceased by grandchildren Corey, Heather and Jennifer. Bruce spent his early years on the boats learning to be a Master Seaman. He retired as a Pacific Coast Marine Pilot in 1982. He moved to Ruth Lake to enjoy the Cariboo. In 2001 he settled in Penticton, BC. A Celebration of Bruce’s life will be held on July 7th, 2007 at 1400 hours at “Mom’s” house. In honour of Bruce’s memory, donations can be made to the Alzheimers Society. Arrangements have been entrusted to Penticton Funeral Chapel.
