COOPER, R. Harold May 31, 1926 - January 11, 2011 January 11, 2011 marked the peaceful passing of a great and gentle man. Captain R. Harold Cooper was born May 31, 1926 in Vernon, B.C. He lived most of his life in the Lower Mainland. Predeceased by his wife Audrey in 2004 he will be lovingly remembered by his son Peter (Brooke, Peter Jr. and Roy) and his daughter Kelly Derksen (Jennifer and Christopher). Harold was an active member of the White Rock community and enjoyed his volunteer work with a number of organizations, especially the Canadian Cancer Society. A celebration of his life will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, March 5th 2011 at 2982 Rockridge Lane, Coquitlam, B.C. Flowers are gratefully declined in lieu of donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Peace Arch Hospital Foundation.
