Kenneth Charles Black June 24/1926 to Feb. 09/2016 Kenneth Black passed away peacefully in his sleep at Burnaby General Hospital. Predeceased by the love of his life, his wife June Black, his brothers Neil, Angus and Bill and his sisters Jean Jones and Eileen Andrews. At the age of 15 Ken joined the Merchant Marines where he served his country throughout WW. II. He continued his career on the sea where he worked as a Marine Engineer at Lafarge. He was a lifelong member of The Royal Canadian Legion and a member of the Army and Navy club. He will be missed by his friends and many nieces and nephews A celebration of his life will be held at the Army and Navy Club at 2211 Kingsway, Vancouver on March 19 at 12:30 till 3.
